Man charged with Fife assault following CCTV appeal

Police in Fife have arrested and charged a 27-year-old man in connection with a serious assault following a CCTV appeal earlier this week.

The assault took place at around 4.15am on Sunday, January 3 near to Kirkcaldy Bus Station and Kitty’s Nightclub.

The man is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on May 5.

A 27-year-old man sustained significant facial injuries during the assault which required dental treatment.

Officers thanked the public for their response to the CCTV appeal.
